Forbidden: Email Doesn’t exist, but it does

I am getting a Forbidden: email does not exists on submission for an email address, but it does exists (we are in contact with them).
I am using CF7. Any ideas on how to fix this? It appears this has been a problem for some other users recently after browsing the support threads.
