Forbidden – Can’t make changes of Access or Emails tabs

Hello,
UM was working fine and am beta testing my site. I had to make a small change on Settings/Access. (Found out later same issue for any changes to Settings/Email)
No longer possible to make any changes. This is the message:Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.I followed steps suggested elsewhere, i.e. deactivated all other plugins, and replaced Divi theme with standard Twenty Twenty.
This made no difference. I have searched other forums and couldn’t find anything to help so am reaching out.Support appreciated:) CJ
