    Hello @blueazure000,

    Most likely, your site uses a caching plugin, and some visitor parameters are transmitted incorrectly. It causes some incorrect filtering.

    Please, change one option here: WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings → set the option “Use CleanTalk JavaScript library” to “On” → Save Changes.

    Don’t forget to refresh your website cache if you use any. It will fix the filtration issue.

    Did it help?

    Thank you for your reply. I changed the setting and cleared the cache on my site and the server, but it happened again.

    After deactivating the plugin, I also noticed error 400 I was constantly getting for the past 3+ months, has stopped. I’ve been using your plugin for many years, and would like to continue using it. Can you please assist me, I use the pro version of the plugin.

    Hello.

    I see that you have changed the settings as we suggested, and further search requests look good. There was one blocked request which I assume was your test, ID b2b788278e541716c0b7903e144e5327. It was blocked because of an IP that has a Suspicious status and belongs to a hosting network: https://cleantalk.org/blacklists/198.244.143.252.

    As for 400 error, could you please contact us via our ticket system and provide us with more details such as conditions under which such an error occurs and error logs? Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

    Thank you for checking. I didn’t run any test, but I saw this morning there was a search blocked and based on the location it was the brand conducting the search and not a bot. I pressume this was blocked based on the url, see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/RyTidPZ

    I will contact you via ticket system about the error 400s.

    Unfortunately, I cannot see screenshot. Could you load it on a different service, for instance, https://www.loom.com?

    I don’t see any blocked search requests in your Anti-Spam log today: https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests. Could you send us an ID of the request you are talking about?

    Hi, this is what I got yesterday, a few hours after I changed the settings:

    Visitors who looked at /?
    s=Suntegrity&post_type=product&ct_bot_detector_event_token=bad583463da60e3c788f8ba1 7258dfd1867ca8dc

    I pressume that visitor was blocked, even though the location and search would have been a real person search. The bot detector event token might not complete, I converted the error screenshot to text and I may have been cut off the full token with the screenshot.

    I found only one request with this URL and it was allowed: https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests?request_id=2dd012b031c6f82e92840f48f3e49a09.

    Please, mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made a wrong decision: Your Anti-Spam Log [ https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests ] —> Choose your website in the drop-down menu —> There are buttons “Spam” and “Not Spam” under every record —> Mark records using these buttons.

    Hi, I’m still getting the “forbidden bot detector” on the website search.

    Here’s one a real user got:

    /?s=Holi+mane&post_type=product&ct_bot_detec
    tor_event_token=6c183a5f2888c6f402530de7f6ec91b7504f5f3ad77d9c1c7bdc6312299cd5dc

    And I also got the forbidden bot detector when I was searching the site for a link: https://imgur.com/a/1p3bGve

    Hello @blueazure000,

    I have adjusted one filter, the issue should be resolved now.

    Please, clear your website cache. Make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less.

    Hi, another customer just got this: /?s=Annmarie&post_type=product&ct_bot_detector_event_token=c965593f7585ed5cff252d0c1e02de5dc66500798d535478a314af4d67463375

    Is there a way to turn off cleantalk on the search boxes?

    Thank you!
