    hello,

I am on a multisite network and logged as super admin.
Once the plugin installed, If i click on the settings link in the plugins list, I get a message like “You have not enough rights to access this page”….

PS : In each site, I can go the site settings through the SL plugins sub menu but the tracking code doesn’t appear in the web pages .

PS 2 : Universal analytics seems to be not accepted by your plugin ?

    Thank you

do not got in the super admin panel … go in each site to see the traffic

I know this bug on the MU install and I have to find a way to correct it …

    What is you PS2 ?

OK PS 2 is about the new Universal analytics tag recently provided by Google. Your plugin seems to put the old ga.js (classic tag) only, doesn’t it ?

    (@sedlex)

ok … did you check the configuration option “Support Display Advertising for Google” ? This is it ?

    Thread Starter EditionsLVA

    (@editionslva)

No Display Advertising is just a policy option but universal analytics is the new version of the analytics tag.
I checked your code and there is only the old google-analytics.com/ga.js script call (not the analytics.js) : see here https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2790010?hl=fr

But this is another problem, you just have to update your plugin and provide the user choice (or detect it via API), just a question of time…

but still the plugin doesn’t insert any code in my pages … no message in debug mode… maybe this due to a conflict with another plugin … I will investigate but I have 34 plugins so it will take a little time to me also!!

ok I will have a look to your universal thing

For the code are you sure that you have not checked the option to NOT track the loggued user ?

    Thread Starter EditionsLVA

    (@editionslva)

the option “do you want to track logged users” is ckecked

Are you sure your plugin is multisite compatible ?

pretty sure … my dev site is a MU site ??

Do you have an URL ? I may check if the JS code is loaded …
The error may come either from a conflict with other plugins or a theme conflict …

    Thread Starter EditionsLVA

    (@editionslva)

Yes you can check on automobiles-classiques dot com for example. even local web stats js code seems to be not loaded…
I tried on other blogs woth twenty foourteen theme and another theme and it doesn’t work

    (@editionslva)

Oh sorry I was looking for an inline script just before the head or after the body and I didn’t event think of a js file … I may be tired…

    sorry for disturbing,
Now I will wait for your universal update …
    thank you for helping
