• I am getting “Forbidden Access” when I try to look at my blog. This problem occurred immediately after I hit “save” on the permalinks option page of my WordPress blog.

I had clicked on the button that makes permalinks use Month and Date in the URL.

After I did that, my WordPress page interface went all white (except for text) and I am no longer able to see my blog???

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Brian

  • use ftp client or host’s file manager and delete the wordpress .htaccess
this should revert the blog back to normal
    try setting the permalinks again
if it doesn’t work, ask your host if mod_rewrite is installed/working

Thanks very much for the quick response. I deleted the htaccess file as you said and the site is now available again.
