    I am also getting the error

    Most people I would imagine are using a shared mailbox like [email protected] for this purpose, and logging in to Azure with an admin account. This is why it fails.

    But you should design the plugin with this common use case in mind, and provide information about this in your documentation. Many, many people waste time going through the steps only to discover that it doesn’t work.
