    Plugin checks nonce (a standard security procedure in WordPress). If nonce is outdated, what could happen due to improper caching in admin, WordPress core returns 403 (Forbidden).

    Also, 403 could be answered by your server if some settings are wrong. It is impossible to answer definitely without additional information.

    Anyway, problem is not in the plugin by itself, as it never returns 403.
