I installed Better AMP on a site using WP 5.0.2. No issue with setup but I cannot view any of the …/amp/ pages (tried tag at both beginning and end of url). All pages and posts load with the Forbidden 403 error.

There are a few references to this issue online, but none of the solutions worked. One of the more common I found mentioned adding the below into my .htaccess file, but it didn’t work for me.
    Options +FollowSymLinks

Any clue how to resolve this issue? Thanks!

A copy of the entry in my error log…
[Fri Dec 21 20:43:14.133021 2018] [autoindex:error] [pid 18889] [client xx.xxx.xx.132:46144] AH01276: Cannot serve directory /home/xxx/public_html/amp/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,Index.html,index.shtml,index.php,Index.php,index.phtml,Index.phtml,index.htm,Index.htm,default.htm,Default.htm,default.html,Default.html,home.htm,Home.htm) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

Disregard lol…answered my own question. Turns out I had a directory named /amp/ in my public_html folder already. Simply deleted that and the error went away and the formatted AMP pages started loading!
