• I’m writing a review to push users to the solution that worked for us.

After the plugin we were using stopped working, I started hunting around for other options and figured I’d try Constant Contact’s solution, thinking it would be the most reliable. Well, I kind of got it to work, but there’s no control over the form and everything looks hideous like it was designed by a monkey. After trying to customize it for about an hour I just gave up and uninstalled it.

We use gravity forms on our site, and they just so happen to have an add-on for Constant Contact. It gives you foolproof instructions to connect to the CC API and from there you have full control of how you want it to look. I was able to set it up and the form and button nicely matches everything else on our site. If you want an easy solution that works, I’d suggest checking it out.

    Hi @vanwilgens

For the sake of feedback, what sort of styles were missing in your mind? Asking because we do have a fair amount of options regarding colors, fonts, spacing, label placement, and custom classes, which were all inspired by other form builders available.

However, we’re willing to listen to which type of settings you felt were missing.

Beyond that, the forms were meant to try and inherit as much as possible from the active theme, in terms of styles applied to the semantic markup with the form itself. Sometimes that works out well, sometimes it hasn’t so much.

While we recognize you’ve moved on to a different solution, the feedback would still be valuable to us.
