For RackSpace Cloud (Mosso) users with a WP dashboard warning

    If you have your WordPress site hosted on the RackSpace cloud (previously Mosso), and you were part of today’s massive server migration, you may experience some issues, especially if your plugins write the absolute path of the server onto the database.

    I’ve writter an entry here about what to do if you get the WP-DBManager plugin warning that your backup folder is not secure.

    I’m still going through the installation and the DB to see if there are any other issues – if you find any, please update this thread, and so will I.

    Update – you’ll also have to do a search and replace in the DB because inevitably there will be some places where the old path was written by functions or plugins. Going through all my sites. It’s gonna be a long night.
