Oops, sorry, not clear enough. I meant for the plugins only. I manage so many sites and the number of emails I get after every update are quite numerous. WP update notifications are still fine.

Oh, weird. I thought that covered all bases. Not the case?

I’ll add a github ticket for this if not.

Going to use this option for a while to see if it still sends me WP core update messages but not the plugin update notifications.

Yeah, looking at the code, it seems there is only one filter you can disable, which turns off automatic update notifications for WordPress core, and plugins/themes.

There’s not a separate filter I can find in WordPress core.

Yeah, doing the above will stop sending updates on WordPress core and plugins/themes.

It’s just one of those things not built into WordPress that we can tap into.
