    Good morning,

I am about to hand over a site to my client and one of their request is to setup an Editor User so they can do updating to specific parts of the sites. I have been able to setup all the sections the client request with the exception of the EventOn plugin.

I have been able to add it to the menu, but when I log in as the Editor User and click on Add New Events, it gives me the message: “Sorry, you do not have permission to change the entries in this type of content”.

Can you please let me know what I’m doing wrong?

    Many thanks,
    Patricia

  • Not plugin developer, but this is actually an issue with the permissions set for the other plugin. One way to handle it is to get User Role Editor plugin and give editors permissions to be able to use that other plugin.

Thansk NickIronGate for chiming in. It does sound like a permissions issue. I can’t personally test with the EventOn plugin, but I would recommend what NickIronGate recommended and try modifying the editor’s permissions to allow this.
