This should not be the case. Only users who have left the comment should be able to edit their own comment, and nobody else’s.

And why are visible to everyone? I write a comment, logout of my account, but the link is still available. Coming in as a test-user – I see. Login under another name – I can still see.

    This actually makes total sense.

The plugin stores a cookie, which is tied to the comment. It does not require you to be logged in. So if you log out, log in as a different user, etc, and are still using the same browser, and the comment timer hasn’t expired, then you should still be able to edit that comment.

I bet if you leave a comment, then open an incognito session, you shouldn’t be able to edit the comment.

Is good that we did not have time to place this bet. ))) But virtual bottle of cognac belongs to You.

    Thanks for the reply.
