If you cancel your pro plan accidently, there is no way to re-subscribe. Even if you cancel it 6 months before it expires.

You have to wait until it expires, remember to login, generate a new paid subscription, and link it to your account.

Why can you not cancel a plan then re-subscribe to it if it’s still active?

And then why does a service whose job is to send reminders not remind the customer the plan is forecefully expiring/expired?

Dozens of review invitations were being sent as free user instead of pro because of this.

If this is a result of some constraint with Paddle, then a way to pre-purchase months in advance or something would be better than nothing.

    Thanks for using our plugin!

Your post might be deleted because WordPress Team doesn’t permit discussion of paid versions of plugins on this forum but let me try to reply while the post is still up.

Unfortunately, we do not have notifications about expiration of Pro license keys yet. Initially, we didn’t want to SPAM people, and then we always prioritized spending development time to work on new plugin features instead of improving the billing system. That’s why we still don’t have this kind of notification emails in place.

We agree with every point that you mentioned and will try to include them in the upcoming development pipeline. As a first step, we have already switched our payment processor to the one that gives us more flexibility with managing subscriptions. So, no more Paddle constraints. Other improvements will follow as well ??
