Footnote wraps paragraph in anchor tag

Ive occasionally met with an issue using MFN where the entire paragraph is wrapped in in anchor tag when I add and footnote. [mfn]…[/mfn] It is not consistent. For example, on the current page I am working on, the first footnote appears correctly, but the second footnote wraps the entire paragraph in the anchor tag. Ive checked to make sure I do not have any incorrectly formatted footnote tags and can confirm that this is not the case. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
