Footnote under the page footer after clicking the superscript

I’ve been using this plugin for a lifetime, and first of all I want to thank the current author for retrieving it when it was abandoned, saving a lot of work to the old users.
It has always worked great and still does and I love its simplicity.
The only issue I’ve been experiencing is the one mentioned here, still present.

This long-standing issue occurs only by activating the jquery pretty tooltips, no issue with the “standard” footnote.
