Footnote numbers restarting

    Hi – Thank you for such a useful plugin.

    We are building our pages with Gutenberg blocks, but some block have ACF fields added. When when footnotes are added in ACF fields, the numbering restarts on the frontend. See the attached page as an example.

    When populating in wordpress, some footnotes are added like this, while others are added using the mfn shortcode.

    Any ideas of how we can solve this?

    Hi @bk2085,

    I just released a new version of the plugin that cleans up some issues where numbering was getting reset when it shouldn’t. Could you update the plugin and see if the issue is resolved?
