Footer widget image, blue freedom theme

New to WP, and trying to understand how to insert image in footer widget. Flash gallery seems not appropriate, and would like particular footer image on every page in blog https://www.kiwanisclubsandiego.org/wordpressblog. Is this a php editing issue in footer.php? If so, I’ll fight my way forward from there.
