    Hello!

I decided on your theme for our company page, it seemed like good fit at the time of installation and so far I’ve had no reason to think otherwise. Thanks for making a good theme.
But I struggle with the footer widget area, I can’t seem to find how to adjust the amounts of columns.

I want to design it all with ONE layout builder widget so that I can have two rows.
    row 1: three columns (1:logo 2:contact 3:map icon & adress)
row 2: one column (a row of tiny logos)

Hope I managed to make myself understood.

    /Jesper

Hello Jesper, thank you for choosing Bento! Please try the following:
    1. Add a Layout Builder widget to the Footer widget area (judging from the live code, you’ve already done that).
    2. Click on Open Builder in the widget. Add two rows to the layout, using the Add Row button (the second one in the panel); while adding the first row, set it to three columns.
    3. Add widgets to each row by clicking on the respective section and tapping the Add Widget button in the panel.
    4. Save all changes and refresh your live page.
In case you’ve already tried exactly that and the result is still lacking, please let me know the details ??

    Hello, thanks for responding ??
You have suggested the solution that I wish would suffice. It’s what I want to do.
But doing it that way only places the layout builder in the first footer column.
I can’t figure out why and my forhead is beginning to feel as desky as my desk is beginning to feel forheady.

Ahh, alright, now I get it! Judging by the screenshot, what you’re trying to do is place the Content Builder layout (with all its columns and rows) as just one of the footer widgets. Since the theme automatically generates footer columns based on the number of widgets assigned to the “footer” area in the “Appearance -> Widgets” admin section, the Content Builder widget just gets its share of the width. Would it be possible for you to try doing the entire footer layout inside that single Content Builder widget?

    Well that sounded just great.
I did what you said and changed the layout according to your reccomendation but no luck.
it still won’t do what I want it to:
    at least it collapses nicely

This is weird, I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the situation on my machine. Could you please email me at support[at]satoristudio.net? I’ve got an idea but to test it I’ll need to ask certain questions that are not suitable for this forum. Thanks for your patience!

Scrapping the footer content and rebuilding it from scratch in a single widget solved this issue.

Satoristudio guided me me and offered solutions to the problem untill I got it working.
    Thanks for great support.
