    I have a question:

    1. What exactly is the difference between the footer widget area and the footer columns? First I thought maybe the footer widget area is above the footer but when I tried to put a widget in the footer widget area it wouldn’t show up.

    Hi,
    Where are you seeing this? There should only be footer column options in Appearance > Widgets. Are you using a separate footer plugin?

    No, I am not using a plugin, I am using Virtue premium with Woocommerce plugin.

    So you’re seeing footer widget area when you go to appearance > widgets?

    yes, exactly! First primary sidebar, then sidebar1, the footer widget area, then footer column 1, 2 ,3 .

    The theme only adds footer column 1- whatever you set in the theme options.

    The widget area your talking about is either added from a plugin or possibly added through the theme options > misc settings where you can add extra sidebars. Either way there isn’t an output for it in the theme template files.

    Hmm, okay, maybe it’s from an old theme or so! Good to know though since it wasn’t working anyway…

    On the last line of the page where the copyright and theme info is, right aligned on my site is #2 (no title) Board Members. Where is this coming from?
