Try adding below CSS:

#top-footer .widget{
    margin-bottom: -100px;
}
#bottom-footer .copyright-text p {
    margin-bottom: 0px;
}

Adjust above number as per your need.

Thank you very much! This worked pretty well but something just broke up at the end of the page (scroll from side to side just pop up and some blank space just appear at the end of page) – could you please have a look?

    margin-bottom: 0px;
}
#top-footer .widget p{
    margin-bottom: 5px;
}
#bottom-footer .copyright-text p {
    margin-bottom: 0px;
}
