Footer showing twice in IE8 for twenty ten child theme

  • I’m hoping someone out there can help!

    I’m using a twenty ten child theme and while my footer is showing great in Firefox and Opera, it’s showing up twice in IE8.

    I’ve tried a number of things in the code and css but to no avail.
