    Hello,

I have an issue with the footer on my website: when the content is too short to fill the entire page, it should still remain at the bottom of the screen. However, this doesn’t always work. Occasionally, the footer is slightly cut off and glitches up and down when refreshing. The problem only occurs on the tablet and mobile versions. Video of the problem: https://imgur.com/a/2xIgHZp Is it possible to fix this issue?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Hello @supern0va,

    Thank you for reaching out,

This usually happens when the footer does not stick to the end of the page: https://postimg.cc/rDT2sSPP.

To stick the footer to the end of the page, please go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Footer Widgets > Fixed Footer: https://postimg.cc/0KdG5R3j.

Note 1: If you don’t use the footer widgets section, you can enable the fixed footer in footer widgets and disable the footer widgets.

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).

    I hope it helps.

    Thank you for the response.

The footer is already fixed. Unfortunately, clearing the cache and regenerating all assets file and data in Elementor did not help either.

Is there perhaps another way to solve the problem?

    Best Regards

    Hello @supern0va,

What device did you test on?
I tested on two other devices and didn’t see any issues.
Also, I couldn’t replicate this on our test sites.
    Please test on another device.

    Thank you for your response.

I tried it on an iPad 10, but the bug doesn’t occur when I emulate a tablet on PC. Could it be that the bug only occurs on iOS/iPadOS?

    Best Regards

    Hello @supern0va,

    Thank you for reaching out,
It’s not a bug; it is possible that it happened because you’ve enabled any custom animation on your device. Try to change the browser and recheck the issue, or check on a device you didn’t open your website before. Also, it could be a cache(like the ISP cache on the devices you had checked).

We have not received any similar reports so far, and we cannot reproduce that issue on our end.

If possible, perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method. Please turn off all plugins and enable them one by one. Check the footer every time you activate a plugin.

Also, there is a potential solution for this topic if the fixed footer feature doesn’t help you: you can set a minimum height for the content of the pages, even with less content, like adding some space. Then, recheck the issue.

    I hope it helps.

I have tried the various options, but unfortunately still haven’t come across the issue. I will now simply set a minimum height to work around the problem. Still, thank you very much for the support!

    Best regards
