• Hello:

    I need some help with my footer that has gone left when it was normally centered (just like the theme). It occurs in IE but in Firefox it is centered, still there is the background missing..

    I have removed all the content from my footer, it did not change anything. I also tried to deactivate some plugins(like podpress): no luck..

    I believe it first happened when I last updated wordpress from the version that needed the widget plugin to the version that already contained the widget interface.

    I don’t know if it is related to that. Here is my blog: https://fon.gs/blogtravel/

    Thanks to whoever can help in any way.

    Theme is FRESHY.

    This blog also has the same problem:

    In this post the author has the beginning of an explanation if it can helps you:

    The CSS file does not work anymore because the page-div is closed before the footer-div (and again after the footer, which results in a validation fault). So, I just dropped the closing div tag before the get_footer in index.php.

    OK I found the solution :

    In the index.php and single.php at the end of both files:

    Replace this:
    `<br style=”clear:both” /><!– without this little
    NS6 and IE5PC do not stretch the frame div down to encopass the content DIVs –>
    </div>

    <!– footer –>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>
    <? ob_end_flush();?>`

    By this:

    <br style=”clear:both” /><!– without this little
    NS6 and IE5PC do not stretch the frame div down to encopass the content DIVs –>

    <!– footer –>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>
    </div>
    <? ob_end_flush();?>

    =)

    Nice to see you found a solution.

    Alas, I have the same problem but my code is different from the above.
    The only similar thing I see is this: <?php get_footer();?>

    Would it be enough just to past this

    </div>
    <? ob_end_flush();?>

    underneath it?

    Tried it. Don’t works.
