Footer not working

    Last week I had a problem with changing the text on the slider. Temporarily switching off all the plugins has solves the issue.

    However, now, I have the same problem with the footer area: I can’t change the text in the footer. It’s really frustrating. I switched off all the plugins and still, I couldn’t change the text in the footer. My site is https://www.metaphorenglish.com

    I attached the following screenshot:

    I click on “Edit Content”, then the text window comes up. Whatever I type in is not saved. In fact, I want to change my address in the footer but it doesn’t work. I press “Save and Close” and the same address remains. Then again I press “Edit Content”, again change the address and press “Save and Close” and my changes are not saved. No matter how many times I repeat this process, the changes are not saved. As I mentioned above, I switched off all the plugins and it still didn’t work.

    @blazsek What browser are you using? Can you please try with another browser?

    I have the same problem. Edited the footer content and clicked on Save, then Save and Publish. But the footer remains unchanged. If I open the wp-admin page again, and navigate to the edit footer content page, the old content is shown.

    Tried on the latest Chrome, as well as latest Edge browser.

    Are you using any cache plugin? If you are, try disabling it and then making the change.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the theme review team.
