Footer not showing.

Hi I have used the Sydney theme on many sites. But I cannot get the Footer to show at all on my new website.

Also, when in customize the buttons for Widgets do not work – I have added text to the widgets directly Appearance/Widgets

I have the lates template and wordpress.
