Footer not at bottom of website page

Hi,

My site footer is not stuck to the bottom of the page but keeps floating i.e. I can scroll even below it.
Since, I am not a programmer, I tried resorting to google searches to find a solution. I saw your reply on this but doesn’t work for me.

That’s the best i could find from some other site:

.site-content {
 min-height: 100vh; /* will cover the 100% of viewport */
 overflow: hidden;
 position: relative;
 padding-bottom: 100px; /* height of your footer */
}

But then it creates another issue of sticky sidebar not being sticky.

Please help resolve the footer issue.
