Footer menu shows html instead of list

    Hi,

    I’m new to WP, have made my first site with SKT Hotel Lite theme, but can not set a footer menu.
    It always shows the exact html that is entered in Customize footer, like;

    <li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">About Us</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Portfolio</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Contact Us</a></li>
    (I’ve reverted the text back to default – with no difference)

    How can I set the footer menu list to display proper links?

    I see everything just fine. Your footer looks absolutely fine.

    Thanks for the reply!
    As I had to go production with this site, I did remove the list with menu and put static text instead in footer.
    The problem was that if I entered html code (as sample in message above) it displayed as if in text editor – all html tags etc.

    Hi blusunhotel, i checked your site and noticed you didn’t resolve this either. I have the same issues. I’ve checked the href against w3c and still it shows html.

    The code looks good to me but i cannot see why this is occurring. Great theme btw!

    Doh! forgot if i paste code in it will render in the comment box! Right, so it works in here but not on the site I guess you can click on any of the links above to find the site! ??

    Hi,
    that site was finished as it was, and I left footer without links. If you find out how to solve this please let me know.

    Hi Davor and @playjetset,

    Thanks for reporting this to us. Will fix this in next theme update which will be done in this week.

    I’m using the theme now, two months after the supposed update, and the problem persists.
