Footer menu color

Try this:

.footer-widgets .widget_text a {
    color: #000000;
}

There is also the menu widget from WordPress core you can use inside the footer widget area by the way.

where did you add the CSS?

I added it using the “Customize” option and then “Additional CSS”

I am not seeing the CSS in there, can you add it back to the Additional CSS and make sure you clear any plugin / browser caches.

I cleared everything, apparently still no results.
I attached a screenshot of my CSS below.

Maybe try clearing your browser cache?

That’s strange…the footer color doesn’t change, it stays white…Ive tried using different colors, such as red…still no results.

Any ideas why?

Not sure if I understand.

The CSS you’ve added is indeed working as my screenshot above shows:

.footer-widgets .widget_text a {
    color: black;
}

If you change black to red then this should be the result:

Yes, the CSS probably applies, but the color doesn’t change.
Although the CSS might work (as your screenshot shows), the color still doesn’t change.
It doesn’t matter to which color I change ist (e.g.: red or black), the actual color of the footer remains unchanged.
