Hi, do you have a list of html codes that I can place in a gutenberg block so I can try and look and changing the position of the “Switch Back” link away from the footer

The Link in the footer for all three of my websites- all different plugins and themes – has dissappeared in the frontend – so I cannot use it as the users I switch to do not have access to dashboard or the admin bar, so i get stuck on a user account.

My website with Elementor shows the link in the edit section, but not for the other websites that use gutenberg blocks, this is why i think it must be a css issue after the last wordpress update. It was working perfectly until the last update

Sorry but this is probably specific to your theme so I can’t help. I recommend adding absolute positioning and a high z-index to the #user_switching_switch_on selector. If you’re not familiar with CSS yourself you might want to ask the author of your theme for some assistance.

Remember also that the “Switch back” link also appears on the login screen, if that helps in the meantime. Just visit wp-login.php and the link will be there.

HI, thank you for the response, but it is three different themes. Only plugins that are the same are memberpress and wordfence, both when deactivated makes no difference. It is really strange as when plugin first installed it worked great, its only since i updated wordpress it has gone wrong. The footer links are showing in the wordpress customise and in elementor, just not in the frontend.

I am currently changing the css to try and get the link to appear towards the top of the page to see if it makes a difference but so far its only showing everywhere else except on the pages

I used the css to move it and again it moves in the back end editors (customize and elementor) but does not show in the frontend and this is with themes – buddyboss, geodirectory modern theme and show pro. I am unable to alter the themes. it just seems a coincidence that when i upgraded to wordpress 6.0 the problems began on all websites. Before that the switch link was showing fine on the frontend. Also done this in incognito so not cache issue- have completed gonet hrough several cache plugins chasing that theory. Very strange
