• Hi there:

I have run into two issues with the footer in an NDA wordpress site that I do not understand. I will also point out that I am presently on an accelerated learning curve, not having worked with WP too often in the past.

    1. When using the standard Page Builder, I found that I was unable to move created rows up or down? Is this something that is a feature rather than an issue? I am not sure?
    2. As a result of the above I decided to run a couple of tests with Layout Builder as I prefer it to Page Builder, and it works on normal pages. So I created a test row with a single column, and added the Layout Builder to it. Once it was loaded I added a single row divided into a number of columns. So far so good, except when I clicked done and done and (I think) one more done, I found when looking at the test page (pre-Publish) the row with the Layout Builder did not display. I tried Publishing it, and looking in a separate tab (I refreshed the view after publishing), it still wouldn’t display? I would like to know if this is a standard feature or an issue that can be resolved?

I would appreciate any help on this.

    Thanks so much.
    -Michael

P.S.: I am using the Bento 2.5 on WP 5.9.3.

I am surprised to find that after 6 days and 16 hours my question has not generated any response. What more can I add…? Nothing really, beyond that I will not be following this thread any further as it is in my opinion, dead, and no longer relevant.

Hello. I saw the thread and felt your pain. I’ve never replied on here before, I’ve built several sites in Bento but not for a while. I thought this might help. If your questions are about the Page Builder or Layout Builder you may do better getting a response from Site Origin as they are the people who make the builder, this thread is Bento theme specific. You can use other builders with the Bento theme so if you don’t like the way Site Origin’s builder works, you could try another builder but keep the theme. I would pose these questions to Site Origin though as it’s their product. Good luck!

Thanks for replying @charl1eapple – I had forgotten about this post, but found it in a Google search of all places. Number 2 on the list, so I must have styled my query similarly. Or it is just something that people ask a lot. ??

    Cheers.
