    Hi all!
I’d like to have my footer to be white with black text. It is currently white with black text, but has a grey box behind it. How do I get rid of the grey box? Also, how do I change the font size? I’d like to make my menu items/titles to be smaller…
Lastly…how do I add Product Category Photos with links to my front/main page? I went to the Homepage Control section, but there are no widgets to drag… When I click on the info, it doesn’t say anything about the widgets not being there…
Thanks so much for any help that you may offer!

What sizes should my images be? The main images on the front page (what I call my category images) and the product images? I’ve tried several sizes, but they’re a little blurry…
    Thanks a million!!

Image size is up to you and the look you want. Something like 800×600 is a good place to start. What size are you using? Can you send a screenshot?

    Hey,
I would really suggest using the woocommerce category pages that are already built when you create a category. Go to products > category > and click to view. There will be a page just showing items in that category. like this: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/product-category/apparel/

Thank you both so much! Here is the link to one of my category pages. https://www.sleeneys.com/vintage-jewelry/

This second look looks pretty fuzzy to me. The picture is clear until I added it here. Maybe I made it the wrong size. They’re about 2900 px when I take them and I made this one (the navy earrings) 314×470 (I made it 470 b/c I read somewhere that they liked 468px)…
The pearl cluster earrings from the first link are 500px in height (500px on larger side). they don’t seem as blurry, so maybe the bigger, the better…??? I’ll try some that are 600px and 800px on the larger side.
I’m pretty sure these pages are the ones that you’re talking about, KT. The format is the same.
Now, I need to figure out how big to make the photos for my front page, the category photos (not my gallery photos). Any advice here as to what works best for people? I guess all of this is just up to the individual’s preference? The only time I’ve worked (very little, obviously) with WordPress, I was told to make the pics pretty small. Maybe that’s b/c of his server….
Thank you SO much! I really do appreciate all of your help. Thank you.

I just made the navy ones 600px in height (bigger side) and that seems to work. Thank you!!

Me again (I am so sorry!)… How can I remove the automatically-added Related Products from my product page? I don’t want those there unless I manually add them… I’m assuming they’re automatically adding products with similar names, earrings, for example. I have so many products that are “similar” (in name only, like earrings)- I don’t want this unless I add it myself.
Thank you again SO much for your help!

    Hey,
In Theme Options > Shop Settings set Display related products? to “Off.”

Another question about my product pics…

1- when you click on them (the pics), there is no lightbox. How/where do I turn this on? I’d like for them to open in a top screen, not instead of.
I thought this was already set up…
Also, my description is not showing up on the page…

I am SO sorry to keep bothering you I’ll be done soon though and you won’t have to bother with me anymore.

    THANK YOU!!

I guess the description goes in the Short Description box instead of the one on the top of the product page. Why are there two description boxes, what is the difference?
I’m sorry to be so WordPress illiterate, I’m jut trying to understand the point of some of this.
    Thank you as always!

You can turn your lightbox on in Theme Options > Misc Settings.
The short description goes beside the product image and the main description goes under it. See here- https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/product/mountainware-hoodie/
