Footer disappeared : getting syntax error

  • The footer has disappeared since last 2 days.

    Getting below error in error_log file

    [18-Mar-2014 21:48:19 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE in /home/blog/public_html/myblog/wp-content/themes/newsworthy/footer.php on line 6

    Not sure if this is because of some other plugin conflict.
