Footer consists of massive scroll of Archives

  • Every single page of our site has all of the sudden included our archives into the footer creating a massive scroll. I spoke with Bluehost Support on this matter and we were only able to confirm that this is happening within the Alexandria theme. It was not there for the 1st 3 years of the site and all of the sudden appears as such. It appears to have bbe done manually, however, everyone seems convinced they did not manually touch anything.

    How can this be corrected?

    Thank you, Sam. Can you please elaborate?

    When I go into the Alexandria theme and then select “Customize’ I am able to go into Footer Settings, however, there are only 2 options: Footer One or Footer Two… neither of which corrects this issue.

    From the Same Alexandria Theme “Customize” menu I can select Widgets then it only lists Footer Right, Center and Left and no options other than simply to add a widget.

    This issue seemingly has appeared out of nowhere from our existing site with no additional actions have been implemented.

    Do you know more specifically what I need to do? Thank you!

    You have to try deactivating all your plugins and see if it fix the issue for you.

    I deactivated each plugin one by one to see if i could find the culprit – no luck. I then re-activated each one. Nothing changed.

    Anything I’m missing? This is so bizarre. Thanks!
