Footer appears in the middle of the page

After updating some plugins the sidebar showed up. I managed to make it disappear but then the footer moved to the middle of the page.
When I change the page template from ‘Gutentor full width’ to ‘default template’ the footer goes back to normal. But I want the site to be full width…
How do I fix this?
