    Hello,

The website for reference is https://lifevibrant.com

I have 3 column layout – have put text via “Visual Editor” in all 3 (Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3) footer areas. Still, the footer is in a single column – All the text is showing underneath each other.

I am looking at the elements (in Safari), “.footer-widget-1.grid, .footer-widget-2.grid, .footer-widget-3.grid” are there. But, no columns?

Any ideas what is up – Is there a bug?

    Thank you.

    Hi Denzel,
Further to my previous report on the theme disaster, I also noted that now there exists a “footer.php” file in my child theme.

FYI, here are the screen shots of my site the way it was before I made your suggested changes (stated in my previous message):

    Site Footer: https://prntscr.com/dpl865

    Hi Denzel,

Latest update – I deleted the theme, addon, and the child theme. Reinstalled every thing again. every thing is functioning OK. I only need to make minor adjustments.

Though, one thing – I set the 3 column footer layout (working fine), but in the widgets section a “Footer 4” is also showing up.

    Thank you.

Sorry, I am not able to replicate your issue.
It’s showing up properly for me.

You mention that you had “re-installed everything” and now it’s functioning properly.
This is most probably due to your cache plugin showing cache content and not updated content.

Your web hosting may not be suitable for you to use a cache plugin. I suggest you to remove it and stop using any cache plugin.

You should get help from your cache plugin author for steps to completely remove your cache plugin. Important: Remove any left over cache plugin related files from your server.

You should not be getting weird issues after removing cache plugin, and it’s also much easier to troubleshoot issues without cache plugin.

    Thank you

Thanks Denzel – You have been a great help. Anyhow, that extra “footer 4” is showing up only in the widgets zone ( see: https://prntscr.com/dq4h8h ) – doesn’t effect any thing – no input in it shows up on the page.

I will be done with the final tweaks by the end today (I hope so!), and start posting the content – I am sure you will find some useful information there.

Wish you A Very Happy and Health New Year.
