food press slider not working

  • Hi,

    Need help .I know foodpress has been quite out of date but its the slider (which is a main feature) of the thme which is’nt working -unfortunately the theme author has already abandoned support for this -I just want to know (in good faith) if there are people here who have the same theme and got their sliders working

  • Given that you paid good money for this theme, what does the theme’s developer have to say about this? Anything? If you’re just getting fobbed off or ignored, have you thought of contacting the folks over at Themeforest? I’m sure they wouldn’t be too happy with the theme still being available for purchase if it has been effectively abandoned.

    Are you sure the slider is being active and placed on the homepage ? The javascript seems fine (only with a quick look, no errors) but there is no #slider container for it to initialize.

    Also, you have 2 404 errors which you will want to fix. Those files are being called but missing.

    I reported this theme already just like many members of themeforest did.

    I just want to know if I can get this slider to work just like others have done like this

    @Thimothe: can you tell me where at the theme editor will this #slider container be located? Thanks.

    Good thing that you reported the theme.

    I wish I could tell you but each theme can have their own setting pages and I don’t know that theme. Wasn’t there any documentation that came with the theme which could point you in the good direction ?

    Can you describe your problem with the slider ? I do see it working on your site but there seems to be an issue with the size of your images which makes them overlap. Try resizing your images to 620×300 and it should make them fit nicely.
