FooBox Pro No Captions in Elementor Pro

    Hello everybody,

    my problem is that the title and description are missing for pictures that I want to display with FooBox Pro.
    The picture has the css class foobox and in the settings I activated Show Image Captions under Captions.
    Does anyone have any idea what I’m doing wrong or have the same problem?

    It’s about the first two pictures after the hero section and its plus button.

    I had a look and can see the problem. FooBox picks up captions from specific attributes or elements. It looks like the captions being set by Elementor set the caption to an attribute called “data-elementor-lightbox-description”.

    You can add some custom JS (on FooBox Settingss page under Custom JS & CSS tab) to use that value, but I think it will be a good idea to build in proper support for captions set by Elementor if Elementor is activated.

    I will release a quick update to do this today. You will be able to update to the beta version if you goto FooBox -> Account and opt-in to beta releases.

    I will let you know once it is released to beta

    v2.7.18 BETA is out and includes the Elementor compatibility

    Please test it out and let me know if it works for. I tried to test it with Elementor PRO, but they would not give me a license to test, so I have to take your HTML and test on that

    unfortunately, the update is not yet displayed for me. Neither under FooBox> Account> Version (Join Beta is checked) or in the installed WordPress plugins. As soon as I have access I will give you feedback. If you wish, I can also provide you with an Elementor Pro page.

    Hey @bradvin sorry to bother you. My Version is still 2.7.16. So i don’t get the beta.
    Maybe you can take a look when you get back to works after the holidays ??

    it worked perfect!

    One last wish for your next update, give Foobox the same settings for the Lightbox like in foogallery pro.
    This is the only missing feature, that is awesome in foogallery.
    Where i can select the captions inline on the right.

    So far awesome work!
