    That module should be switched off by default, but is made available so that future developers have an example module to consider while making their own.

    However, if you have been running the plugin from an earlier version, it may have been switched on then.

    Did you do a new install and have that module appear?

    I just found the option for this module on the PF preferences screen, and had no recollection of toggling it on, so to be sure I just threw together a completely new copy of WordPress 4.1, installed the latest PressForward and yeah, it’s definitely on by default over here.

    Thanks, I can confirm that you are correct. At some point we lost our ability to process a default state for modules. I’ll be fixing this in the next release.
