• I have developed a site with Foo Gallery plug in on some pages.
It was on a test site. Now moved to a new server and all pages that have the Foo Gallery on do not load.
If I remove the Foo Gallery from the page it loads fine.
Any idea what is causing this issue and how it can be fixed please.

  • That doesn’t sound like a Foo issue. Moving sites to new hosts requires careful restructuring the embedded URL in database and that would be my first guess. Sometimes when I’ve moved sites I had to deactivate and reactivate some plugins.

    hey @robertvarns,
You might need to clear your CSS optimization cache. You can do this from settings.

    Brad,

I just experienced this same thing using migrate db pro to update my remote site. This was not the case until I just recently (2 days ago) updated multiple plugins and my site to WP 4.8. One of the plugin updates was foogallery.

So no every time I migrate my database, which I do many times a day, the slider on the front page (using the owl caoursel add-on) does not show any images, only the caption under it and the buttons. I tried clearing the css cache in foogallery as mentioned, but that doesn’t do it. Thankfully, I can get it to show normally by opening the gallery in edit mode, then clicking update. It’s just a pain since do it frequently and each time the site seems somewhat broken because of it.

Any idea if this due to one of the recent updates? Haven’t updated it for at least a couple of months, so it could be any release withing the last 2-3 months.

    Thx.

@mhair when the slider shows no images, and you open dev tools, what errors do you see in the page? Are there 404 errors pointing to wrong image paths?

It could be the HTML cache released in a recent update. You can disable that feature from the settings page
