Fonts not showing on mobile

    I set this plugin up, first on a clone, then on the parent site. The fonts show up on a laptop using Brave but not on an Android. I don’t see any settings for mobile display. Am I missing something?

    The website is using the Storefront theme.

    I just checked and am now suspecting that another site I installed the plugin on, be-joy.com, also has issues with the mobile display. That one is less dependent upon Google Fonts but this is a concerning and disappointing development. What can be done to fix this?

    This plugin doesn’t integrate seamlessly on all themes. How did you make the uploaded custom fonts appear on your site? What custom font you are using on your site?

    Hi @bsfherman, I used whatever method is associated with Google fonts. In this case the font is Noto Serif. If the font is the issue it would be easy to switch. Unfortunately, since things like “display: none” are also not being reflected on mobile, I have my doubts about the font being the issue. Storefront is the Automattic theme for Woocommerce so it would be a big one to be incompatible with. What can I do?

    @bsfherman could this be caused by using a Google variable font with a browser which doesn’t support them?

    Hi @catwingz,

    I can see Noto Serif is only used for the Widget Title on the Footer. Refer to this screenshot, please. However, yes, I can see this font is looking different on Mobile while the other fonts are fine.

    Please try uploading different format of the custom font to provide more compatibility for many browsers. See if it helps.
