    Good day,

We installed your plugin but after making several speed tests, it seems that the site is not loading the fonts locally still. Do we need to adjust anything in the basic configuration set when the plugin is installed?

Thank you for your help and interest.

Could you provide more information? So I can make an educated guess if what might’ve home wrong?

What steps did you follow to configure the plugin? And please share screenshots of your settings.

Certainly. We just followed the quickstart instructions you provide:

    Quickstart

Click Auto-detect and wait for the on-screen instructions
Click Download Fonts and wait for the download to complete
Click Generate Stylesheet and wait for the process to complete
Check ‘Remove Google Fonts’ and save your changes

Here are the screenshots of the configuration we have:

    Good afternoon,

Thank you for your quick response. We checked the option you sugggested and we re-did the stysheet as the plugin suggests. We didn’t see much of an improvement with the option checked.

Do we have to check all the preload options in the available font styles found by the plugin before doing the stylesheet again?

    Thank you for your help.

Not much… So did you see a little improvement? And if so, what improved? Please be more specific.

Do we have to check all the preload options in the available font styles found by the plugin before doing the stylesheet again?

No, only preload the font styles that’re used above the fold.

Very well. Here is a shot of the site just now:

    montserrat-700-normal-nD_g.woff2 200 19 KB 436.3ms

Before the plugin the page speed was of 1.1 s or less.

    What do you suggest?

There’s still not much for me to go on here. Could you share your URL? If you don’t want to share it here, send it to me using this form.

Wow, I’m terribly sorry for not getting back to you.

If you’re still struggling with this issue or you’d like to retry. I just released OMGF v4, which basically has improvements across the board. You could try it again to see if this resolves the issues you were having.

Let me know how it goes!
