Fonts-italics

There is one strange font in the theme. When I put some text in italics, within regular text, it also makes it short. It makes it look like it’s a different font than the surrounding text. It’s like it’s vertically squished.

It only looks this way in web browsers on my laptop (Firefox, Edge). When I look at the same italicized text on an iphone, it looks fine.

Is there any way to fix this?
