Fontawesome in menu not working

    Hi, after updating to the latest version 3.3.3 of the theme fontawesome icons are not displayed anymore inside menu items. Also, html tags like <br> are displayed as plain text instead a linebreak.

    e.g. we have a menu item with label:

    <i class=”fas fa-cogs”></i><br>settings

    which – in the previous version – was displayed correctly as an icon with linebreak and text.

    Is this by design so we have to find another way to display icons in the menu or is this something you would be able to fix?

    Hi @leerpodium,

    With regard to your issue, can you please remove this function https://prntscr.com/rao9kv on the inc/wp_bootstrap_navwalker.php file? This will fix the current issue temporarily. I will remove this on the next theme update.

    Thanks- I had the same issue. Glad to find a solution posted so quickly. For other folks who might see this- don’t remove the entire “red boxed” area (see screenshot referenced above) from the wp_bootstrap_navwalker.php file, only remove the underlined items.
