Font size breaks in IE

  • I’m using Adreamtohost theme, I just want to change the post font side to make it a bit smaller, when I do, it looks fine in firefox, but in IE it makes the right sidebar move under yhe post area. this is the code.

    body {font: normal .9em/1.6em Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color : #2a3845;margin : 0;padding : 0;background:#93d95f url(images/gradient.jpg) repeat-x;}

    All I want to do is change .9em/1.6em to .8em/1.6em

    Any help would be appreciated.
