    Hi, Love the plugin !
I just have one issue I hope you can help me resolve. When I use the css minifier, it changes my fonts throughout the site. I’ve tried all of the settings in the css minifier, and the font manager. Nothing works. I even took every file that was being minified and put it in the exclude, and no change. I disengaged your minifier and tried using the Asset Cleanup css minifier, and get worse numbers than without anything. I’m hoping that there’s a way to disengage the font manager, so I can use your css minifier. Any help would be great.
    Thanks !

  • @heatherms27 Can you please try to uncheck the option merge CSS files form WP-Optimize > Minify CSS and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    Hi Harshad,
I tried every combination and every setting individually. The only thing that keeps my fonts intact is having the CSS off. I know it has to do with how the fonts are handled in connection with the Css, so I’m hoping there’s a way to turn off the font handling, because I really need the css minification.
    Thanks

@heatherms27 Are you using Google fonts? Have you checked the Minify > Fonts section?

I’m using both Google fonts, and Font Awesome, and I’ve tried all of the settings in your Font section, and all the combinations between the font settings and the css minify settings, and nothing solves the problem when the css minify is on. I don’t have that issue with the Asset Cleanup css minify, but when I use that with your caching, the page speed numbers are lower than not using a css minify at all. So that’s why I’m hoping we can turn off your font optimize, so I can use your css minify for everything else.

@heatherms27 I’ll check this with our development team to see if there’s a filter that we can override the font optimize.

    Hi Harshad,
I just noticed that the JS minifier disables 2 of my plugins, that are actually both from the same developer. I added their js script in the exclude, but that’s not working. Is there another way I can bypass those 2 plugins so I use the js minifier on the rest of the files ?
    Thanks

I can see this case is marked as resolved, but don’t really see a resolution here? I am seeing the same issue, just on Chrome mobile. Everything works fine on the desktop version the fonts load etc, but on mobile Google font’s don’t load. If I change how Google fonts get loaded from inherit from CSS, to one of the asynchronous methods, I get a 400 error. The only thing that makes the fonts work on Chrome mobile is turning off CSS minification. Any ideas on how to fix this without losing minification?

    Hi,
This wasn’t resolved, it was just closed. I’m not able to use the CSS minification at all.

    Same here,

I was using Google fonts and Font Awesome with minifying options for more than 6 months, but somehow, I am not able to do so anymore.
Did try to resolve trough the most obvious options here and there, but I had to disable the whole minification in order to be able to use the web site fonts…

Probably it would be quicker to fall back to the previous optimizer plugin?

    Hi,

    I have the same problem….
