• Hello there,

I’m having trouble with the font I use in my blog.
If you visit my blog at the following address : https://www.benjamincip.com
you can notice that some of the older post are written in a different fonts than the new one. Plus my about me widget font also changed.

Strangly, if you click on one of my post (even the older one) you will see that the font changed. So I guess there is a problem only on the Home page.

I upgraded wordpress to the last version.
I checked WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” in the writing setting
I rewrote the post using another fond, but nothing changed.
I reinstalled the wordpress theme, and nothing changed either

It would be great if someone could tell me how to fix this problem.

    Thank you,
    Benjamin Cip

  • Hi Benjamin,

I noticed that the problem does not occur in Firefox, only in IE.
So hard to tell for me.
But, if you go here https://www.xhtml-css.com/ and test your site, you will see a load of errors both in your (X)Html and CSS. That ususally leads to different behaviour in IE and other browsers.

I believe that all these error appeared since I used super-chage plugin and cache plugin…. I removed them, but the error is still here…

    Try this:

    In your all-splitfired.css add under #content P

    font family: tahoma

    and

    under SPAN.bar

    add also font-family: tahoma

thank you very much. It changed a little bit. I still have to change the “about me widget” font…. any idea how to do it?

    looks goodnow.

The about me you do under:

sidebar UL in the same all-splitfired.css

I see you did put font-size:11px; under spanbar but there is a mistake in there. Try this: font-size: 11px; (just the extra space)
