Font is unreadable on Gutenberg when the background of the theme is dark

Yes, that’s on the theme. I’ll update the placeholder color to have more contrast against the background in the next version.

I’ve updated the placeholders to use the secondary text color in version 2.2.3, which was just submitted and should be live shortly. Give it a go and let me know if it fixes the issue.

The color is ok now here!

But the icons on the first paragraph (the plus on the left, the image, title and gallery on the right) are still dark.

@craveiroraul Great! I’ve updated the icons set directly against the background color to inherit the text color in version 2.2.5, so they should be a bit more visible after the update.

Hey @anlino, this (kinda) happened again.

@craveiroraul Gah. It’s a game of whack-a-mole to keep up with the style changes in the block editor, unfortunately. I’ll include a fix for this in the next version of Chaplin (not the one just released, but the one after that). Thanks for letting me know!
