• Hi,

Can anyone tell me why my font (Edwardian Script ITC) looks awful on Windows XP, but fine on Mac OS X? Take a look at the header of this page to see what I mean… I think it’s got something to do with aliasing, but not sure what. Is there a solution?

Any help would be appreciated – thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

“Edwardian Script ITC” font is not the default font of Windows OS, so please create font-face (any other text replacement method) to show this text similar on both any OS.

    Thanks

Thanks. So, is it a case of Windows trying to crudely emulate the font rather than actually using the real font?

Yes, it is problem of real font.

    Hi,

    Yes,
You can change default font of your website.
There are multiple typographies which you can use and replace your website’s font.
    i.e.
    1. Cufon
    2. Fontface
    3. fontkit (adpbe service)

    Regards,
    Shashank
