• I use a WordPress installation with Elementor and an OceanWP child theme. Most of the website works fine, but the body font (Ubuntu) refuses to load on some, but not all, devices. It works fine on my own laptop, where I built the website, but not on my phone or the laptops of some of my coworkers.

I’ve tried everything I could think of:

    • Using Local Google Fonts to cache the font locally, but that plug-in doesn’t even recognize Ubuntu’s presence.
    • Uploading it using Custom Fonts, but this didn’t fix it.
    • Uploading the fonts manually to our server and adding the font to the stylesheet.css file of our child theme, which has worked for our header font. This also did nothing.
    • I’m at my wit’s end and don’t know how to fix this. The only thing I can think of that may have caused this, is that this started after we migrated the site from the testing environment on a subdomain to the production environment on the main domain. This had to be done manually, as any migration plug-in we used would irreparably crash the site. There are no issues in the testing environment. However, if this is the case, then I have no idea where I’d even need to start looking to fix it.

I hope someone can help me!
